Kimberly Nichole, Clinton Washington seal steals on The Voice

The coaches on The Voice had only three steals between them heading into Monday’s third battle round episode.

And they used two of those steals on Kimberly Nichole and Clinton Washington in a pair of surprises.

Kimberly was so good in her “Hound Dog” match with Lowell Oakley, that it was a surprise she needed a steal.

But Pharrell Williams picked Lowell as the winner; Kimberly was promptly plucked from possible elimination by Christina Aguilera.

The surprise performance of the night came from Clinton, who turned just one chair in the blind audition round and was matched against India Carney, who turned all four.

Yet the two singers both dazzled on an emotional performance of “Stay.” Christina declared India the winner; Clinton had a choice of being stolen by Adam Levine or Pharrell and opted to join Team Adam.

The winners in other battle matches Monday were 15-year-old Kelsie May of Team Blake, 16-year-old Treeva Gibson of Team Christina, 52-year-old Barry Minniefield of Team Adam, and 23-year-old Caitlin Caporale of Team Pharrell.

If you missed any of those performance, here they are again.
