Kristy Lee Cook from American Idol Season 7 is about to release new music.
It will come in the form of a four-track EP called “All Kinds of Crazy” that will be released Friday.
Kristy Lee announced the release on WhoSay.com last week. She co-wrote two of the songs on the EP, the title track and a song called “Everything.”
This will mark her first major release with Broken Bow Records since signing with the label in 2010.
Since then, she’s released a series of singles, including “Airborne Ranger Infantry,” “Good Timin’,” “Lookin’ for a Cowgirl” and “Wherever Love Goes,” a duet with Randy Houser.
She’s also served as host on a number of outdoor and hunting shows and starred on the Sportsman Channel’s “The Most Wanted List.”
Kristy Lee finished seventh on Season 7 of Idol, then released an album called “Why Wait” the following fall.
She’s also performed at the York Fairgrounds twice, on the Great Country Radio stage at the York Fair in 2013 and at Jingle Bell Jam later that same year.
