Lauren Alaina delivered a treat for fans this morning.
She dropped the video for her latest single, “My Next Boyfriend.”
She spots him as a group of young adults show off their skateboarding and dance skills on a city street.
And she looks and sounds great as she’s doing it.
The song is from a five-track, self-titled EP Lauren released last fall.
If you haven’t heard it, check it out. It’s definitely more pop-country leaning than the debut album Lauren released after finishing second on Season 10 of American Idol.
The EP also includes “History,” the Lauren song used by ESPN to promote their college football coverage this year.
And the EP includes one of my Top 10 American Idol songs of 2015, though it isn’t either of the ones mentioned above.
Lauren has been working on a sophomore album, due out sometime this year.
