Scotty McCreery fans luck out big time this week.

Not only do we get a debut album from American Idol’s Season 10 winner Tuesday, but we’ll be treated to lots of Scotty all week.

It actually began this morning when Scotty appeared on Today and performed his latest single, “The Trouble with Girls.”  You can watch the video here.

Tonight, GAC will air “Introducing:  Scotty McCreery” at 9 .m.  GAC camera crews have been following Scotty since June, capturing key moments are he prepared to release his debut album, according to Scotty’s website.

Family, friends and industry representatives were also interviewed as part of the show.

Other appearances include:

• Tuesday on Live with Regis and Kelly (ABC at 9 a.m.). Other guests include Hugh Jackman and Kaley Cuoco of “The Big Bang Theory.”
• Tuesday on Today (NBC) during the 10 a.m. hour.
• Wednesday on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC, 11:35 p.m.)
• Friday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (CBS, 4 p.m.)

This is a big week all around for Scotty. He turns 18 on Sunday and plans to celebrate a night early with a concert/CD release party in Raleigh, N.C., his home state.

And, of course, this “Clear as Day” debut album comes less than two weeks after the final stop on the American Idol summer tour … two shows in the Philippines.

Quite the whirlwind for a guy who was just 16 when he tried out for Idol back in the summer of 2010.

“I’m young,” he said during his brief interview on Today. “I can take the heat. I can take the busy-ness.”

Good thing, because it’s about to get much busier.
