The Top 8 finisher from Season 7 of The Voice will be performing in the D.C. suburbs on Wednesday and has a show in Philly on Thursday.
The D.C. show is at Jammin’ Java in Vienna, Va.; the Philly show is at the World Cafe Live. The latter will also feature Matt McAndrew, who finished second in Season 7.
Luke’s “Only Ghosts” album — his first since appearing on the show — hit iTunes Friday and immediately surged up the site’s singer-songwriter chart.
By 7:30 Friday morning, it was sitting at number four on the singer-songwriter albums chart. Twenty-four hours after its release, it was still in the Top 10.
“Three Days” — one of three tunes released before the entire album dropped — remains a standout track. But the album certainly isn’t shy of highlights courtesy of Luke’s soulful Texas vocals.
Other highlights include “Someone Like You,” “Say It Out Loud” and “While I Was Away.”
As for that title …
“The things we have the most in common are the often the things we least want to show, and the beauty of our future as a world depends on our ability to find and share those things,” Luke told Yahoo.com, where the album premiered earlier in the week. “The walls that stand between us and that future are only ghosts.”
Luke’s “Only Ghosts” Tour continues through early February. You can check out all the dates on his Facebook page.

There is no “After The Voice.”
After the season ends, unless it’s Cassadee, Danielle, or Jordan, nothing happens, and the contestants are back where they started.
While the judges and producers get richer from and off the show.
Enjoy Season 12 of “The Voice” now that they’ve turned it into “American Juniors.” :-p
