Mara Justine, Jurnee score most popular performances on American Idol

High school student Mara Justine scored the most popular performance Sunday night on American Idol.

As of noon Monday, her performance of Whitney Houston’s “Run to You” had been viewed nearly 260,000 times on YouTube.

Only one other performance from Sunday’s show — Jurnee’s cover of Jessie J’s “Flashlight — had more than 200,00 views.

The most-viewed male performance came from Adam Sanders, performing as drag queen Ada Vox. His cover of “Feeling Good” had been viewed about 159,000 times.

Tonight, Idol judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie will announce which seven singers from the 12 below advance on American Idol. Five will be left behind.
