Matt McAndrew advances to the knockout round on The Voice

0

Adam Levine pitted his two guitar players — Matt McAndrew and Ethan Butler — against one another in The Voice battle round.

Then he asked them to perform Coldplay’s classic ballad, “Yellow.”

Both turned in praise-worthy performances, and Ethan got compliments for excelling with a song that wasn’t in his wheelhouse.

But Adam declared Matt the winner, saying he thinks the 23-year-old from Philadelphia has a real future in the music business.

He now advances to The Voice’s knockout round, which begins next week.
