Matt McAndrew leads the way on iTunes for The Voice

Matt McAndrew The final eight singers for Season 7 of The Voice were revealed Monday night.

And Tuesday morning, fans seemed most impressed with Matt McAndrew, a 23-year-old from Philadelphia, Pa., who turned three chairs and opted to join Team Adam.

Matt was leading all of Monday night’s contestants on the iTunes Top 200 singles chart as of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

In fact, his cover of “A Thousand Years” was the only single from Monday’s show to crack that chart, checking in at number 160.

Three other songs landed in the Top 200 on the pop chart, as indicated below. Those rankings are, as of 8 a.m. Tuesday:

Beth Spangler, “Best Thing I Never Had,” pop — 104
Brittany Butler, “The Girl from Ipanema,” pop — did not chart
Fernanda Bosch, “I Try,” pop — did not chart
Daniel Griffin, “It’s a Beautiful Day,” pop — did not chart
Justin Johnes, “Let Her Go,” pop — 133
Matt McAndrew, “A Thousand Years,” pop — 52
Mayra Alvarez, “Human Nature,” pop — did not chart
Ryan Sill, “Secrets,” pop — 165
