Matt McAndrew placed second on Season 7 of The Voice with the help of sentimental performances of “Fix You” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
He just released a new video for his single, “Counting on Love.”
In it, Matt ditches his glasses, strips to the waist and turns fight club warrior.
He wins his match by kneeing his opponent in the face. Ouch!
Anyway, not sure what any of this has to do with “counting on love,” but it’s certainly different than most videos about love.
By the way, a police officer shows up as the fight club participants scatter and provides a twist to the end of the video.

It’s mixed on Matt’s Facebook page, as one might expect.

Good question, Rachel. Still no word on when Matt will be releasing his debut album.
