His audition: Cameron Wright, 34, Minneapolis, Minn., “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand: Cameron’s impressive range and tone prompt almost immediate chair turns from Gwen Stefani and Michael Buble. Before he’s completed the song’s second line, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg are facing his way too, giving him a four-chair turn. Cameron completed an excellent performance, delivering a couple of glorious glory notes. Reba called his performance wonderful. Gwen said “not one moment wasn’t perfect.” Michael said there’s a light that pours out of Cameron and predicted he’ll make the finals. Snoop vows to teach Cameron some skills to make sure that happens. Cameron opted to join Team Michael.

* According to his web bio, Cameron is blessed with a four-octave vocal range and has been performing since he was very young.

* At age 11, he recorded a tribute to civil rights activist Rosa Parks that sold more than 300,000 copies, according to Cameron’s Linked In Profile.

* And he was 13 when Stevie Wonder invited him to perform at the annual House of Toys event in L.A. after hearing Cameron’s cover of “The Greatest Love of All.”

* Cameron has since released his own music, including singles in 2018 and 2019 and a seven-song EP called “Revelations” in 2020.

* Cameron’s latest solo release prior to The Voice appears to be a 2021 single called “Take 5.”

* And since appearing on the show, he’s released a new single called “Still.” It dropped in mid-October.

* He’s also performed as a background vocalist, for The 1975 at the 2016 Coachella Music Festival and for none other than Beyonce two years later, according to his Spotify bio.

* His Instagram also features a certificate from the Recording Academy for being a background vocalist on the Beyonce’s Grammy-winning music film Homecoming in 2019.
