Creigh Riepe of The Voice Season 26

Creigh Riepe of The Voice Season 26

His audition: Creigh Riepe, 32, Charlotte Courthouse, Va., “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone: Creigh immediately shows off a nice tone and nice range. He’s midway through the song and rocking out on the chorus when Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire turn. Gwen likes his genuine vocals. Reba called his voice beautiful and said she loved the emotion in his vocal. Creigh decided to join Team Reba.

Here’s more about Creigh.

* He’s a country and pop music artist with lots of performance experience and already released music.

* That released music includes 10 singles Creigh has released since embarking on a solo career in 2020.

* Prior to that, between 2014 and 2017, he was part of a band that toured the U.S. and opened for Keith Urban, Hunter Hayes, Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett.

* In between, he opened Arcadia Street Studios in Nashville, Tenn., with the goal of helping independent artists make affordable high-quality recordings of their music.

* Earlier this year, Creigh told Canvas Rebel that he grew up in a musical family. His mom played piano; his dad played guitar.

* His interest in music piqued, Creigh started piano and voice lessons at a young age and started singing at churches around his hometown of Charlotte Court House, Va.

* He eventually began to write songs and explored production as well, then moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University. He studied audio engineering and music business and graduated in 2013.

* Given that background, it’s not surprising that one of the first thing Creigh did when he got to The Voice was turn his hotel room into a studio.

* His latest song release is a cover of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing.” But his four releases before that — all of which dropped in July 2023 — were originals. They include the impressive “She’s Got a Way,” written for his wife Sarah. The couple have two young daughters. Check out a snippet of “She’s Got a Way” below.

* In his Spotify bio, Creigh says his goal is to create music “that reaches listeners on a personal level and to give them inspiration to keep moving forward” and to reach “someone who simply needs to escape this crazy world for a moment.”
