Dani Stacy of The Voice Season 25

Season 25 begins Monday, Feb. 26, with the coaching quartet of John Legend, Reba McEntire, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay.

Here’s more about Dani:

* She’s a 31-year-old singer-songwriter from Hanford, Calif., now based in Nashville.

* And this young woman has released quite a bit of music, 12 singles and an EP since 2019 to be precise.

* It all started when she got her first guitar at age 13 and began secretly writing songs in her bedroom, she says in her Spotify bio.

* She’s been “a slave to songwriting ever since” she told Voyage LA in a 2019 interview. That said, she didn’t begin performing live until she was about 20.

* Dani’s moved twice in the pursuit of more artistic opportunities, first to L.A. and then to Nashville in 2020.

* Writes Dani on Instagram: “The move to Nashville has been my biggest growing experience yet. I’ve written more songs than I can count, thanks to all the wonderful writers here that have challenged me and helped me grow.

* She adds: “But, not gonna lie, I feel like I am STILL adjusting. I still struggle to find my people, and where I fit in. I still struggle with insecurities, and constantly questioning if I am good enough.”

* Dani finishes the post by encouraging herself and others to keep pursuing their dreams. And she does it while introducing her newest single, “Settled On You,” which dropped in mid-November.

* She calls it her “song to Nashville.” She adds: “This is a song for anyone who moved somewhere new to pursue their dreams. It’s not always easy, but you know you’d kick yourself if you didn’t. So… I’m settled on you, Nashville.” Check out a live performance of the song below.

* Dani also released a single called “Lonely” in 2023, and her other most popular songs on Spotify include “Lie to Me” from 2019 and a “Sex and Candy” cover from 2020.

* Dani has 14,000 followers on her Instagram and nearly 9,000 followers and 300,000 likes on her TikTok.
