Denisha Dalton is among the singers to announce that they auditioned for The Voice Season 20.

Here’s more about Denisha.

* She’s a 2016 graduate of Warwick Valley High School in New York and a 2020 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville. She graduated from Belmont with a bachelor’s in music business.

* As 2020 drew to a close, she posted two special covers to her Instagram, including an emotional version of “Jealous” by Labrinth in honor of a niece who committed suicide in the past year.

* The other was Camila Cabello’s “I Have Questions.” Denisha wrote that it was recorded over the summer “when I was, for the first time, kind of feeling seen and heard as a black woman in America by those who don’t experience the walk through life in the same shoes as me and all the other beautiful black queens out there.”

Editor’s note: Season 20 of The Voice is scheduled to kick off Monday, March 1 on NBC.
