Gina Miles from The Voice Season 23

The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, March 6.

Here’s more about Gina:

* She’s an 18-year-old, California-based, singer-songwriter.

* And in spite of her young age, she’s one of Season 23 auditioners who has already released music.

* In Gina’s case, that came in the form of a five-song EP called “Who You Are” that dropped in January 2022.

* Gina also dropped music videos for two of the songs on the EP, “Incredibly Impatient” and “End with You.” Check out the former below.

* And the teen celebrated with a release show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Sacramento, Calif.

* In “Getting to Know Gina” videos on YouTube, the young singer says her father was a deejay, so she grew up around music and starting singing in chorus and show choir at a young age.

* She says she got serious about song-writing around age 12 or 13 when she started to pen her own material with the help of an old, out-of-tune piano in her home.

* Gina says music has also been therapeutic — an outlet for emotions for her — and she hopes her music serves the same purpose for others.

* “I hope people get from my music a little bit of comfort in whatever form that comes in for them. I just want people to enjoy the music and get lost in the music and the melodies,” she says.
