Presumbably, if Casey wants to succeed on Idol this year, she’s going to have to learn to perform without her guitar.

That’s unless Nigel Lythgoe relents on his vow to limit the use of instruments during seaosn 10.

Anyway, back to Casey, a singer-songwriter from Toms River, New Jersey, who classifies her music as acoustic / folk / indie on MySpace.

She writes her own music, and anyone who performs songs called “The Curse of Lady Casanova” and “They Call Me Dr. Kill” has to pique your interest. Right?

I like horror movies, thunderstorms, long car rides, tattoos and piercings, transvestites, Marilyn Monroe quotes, pin-up girls, black coffee, the color green, underground indie bands, above-ground indie bands, acoustic folk music, writing my own music, playing guitar and piano, singing, and anything related to music. Oh, I also have a slight obsession with owls. – With all of that having been said, I’m a pretty complex person. However, you’re always welcome to try and figure me out.”
