Jasmine Zeigler is among the artists who have announced that they auditioned for Season 24 of American Idol.

Idol returns to ABC on Monday, Jan. 26 with the judging trio of Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood.

Here’s more about Jasmine:

* She’s the lead singer and drummer with her family gospel group, The Zeigler Family.

* Jasmine recently turned 23 and the group recently celebrated its 8th anniversary.

* Other group members have included father Rickie, mother Marchelle and Jasmine’s siblings, Brionna and Rickie III.

* They’re based in West Palm Beach, Fla., and released a pair of singles in 2021 — “Can’t Stop Now” and “Heal Our Land.”

* The latter was written by Jasmine and released in conjunction with the group winning Season 1 of a virtual competition called “Quartet Unstoppable.”

* One of Jasmine’s most recent posts on Instagram has her covering the singing show staple “I Have Nothing.” And she certainly shows off a big, powerful voice. Check it out below.

* Her family band’s TikTok page has more than 3,000 followers and more than 25,000 likes.
