Jurnee is one of the contestants on American Idol Season 16.

Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie will be presiding over the fifth and final audition episode, deciding who does and doesn’t merit a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Here’s more about Jurnee:

* Performing as Jurnee Manley at the time, the Colorado teenager auditioned for FOX’s final season of Idol in 2016 and earned a golden ticket.

* For her audition in front of then-celebrity judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr., she performed Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” and Ariana Grande’s “Almost is Never Enough,”

* Then a junior at Littleton High School, Jurnee told her school newspaper that she didn’t learn until 10 minutes before the audition that her preferred songs had not been approved.

* Later in 2016, Westworld.com put Jurnee, still just 16 at the time, on a list of nine Denver hip-hop artists readers “needed to meet.”

* In the interview with her high school newspaper, Jurnee said she’s been singing as long as she can remember. ““My mom said I knew all the words to the songs she listened to before I even knew what they meant,” she recalled.

* And, in a more recent interview, Jurnee said she was a big Katie Perry fan growing up. “I wanted to have a whole Candy Tour like she did for ‘California Girls,'” Jurnee said. “I was obsessed.
