Justin and Jeremy Garcia of The Voice Season 25

Justin and Jeremy Garcia are among the artists who auditioned for a spot on The Voice Season 25.

Season 25 begins Monday, Feb. 26, with the coaching quartet of John Legend, Reba McEntire, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay.

Here’s more about Justin and Jeremy:

* They’re 17 year old twins and musicians from the San Francisco Bay area.

* They’re high school seniors and recently competed with their classmates at the Folsom Jazz Festival, billed as the largest jazz competition in California.

* They’re relatively new as a combo on both Instagram and TikTok, but have posted a number of impressive covers, most recently “Life Goes On” by Ed Sheeran and “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur.

* And while they don’t appear to have released music, they’ve posted an original to their YouTube channel, a song called “Today She Choose Me.”

* They also formed a garage band called Unparallel with some friends and have performed at festivals in the Bay area.

* The fact that the twins have decided to pursue music should surprise no one considering they became viral sensations back in 2011, when they would have been about 6 years old.

* A video of them dancing to the OutKast song “Hey Ya” on their Wii was viewed more than 8 million times on YouTube. It was soon outdone by a video of them dancing to Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song,” which racked up more than 10 million views.

* Both videos are still available on their YouTube channel as well as several others of them dancing together when they were young. Apparently, they became known as the Hey Ya Twins.
