Rachel Christine Gebel from The Voice Season 23

Rachel Christine Gebel is among the artists to announce that she auditioned for Season 23 of The Voice.

The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, March 6.

Here’s more about Rachel.

* She performs primarily as part of a duo called the Gebel Girls with sister Micah Lynn.

* They’re a cover duo from Burlington, Wisc., performing a wide range of music, including country, pop, rock and alternative, according to their website.

* They’re apparently quite in demand, with a bunch of shows already scheduled through mid-May.

* Rachel’s love of music comes naturally. Her father Neil performs as Neil Gebel’s Weekend Shenanigans and there are videos of Rachel performing with the group.

* Her mother Micki sings too. In fact, Rachel proclaims in a Facebook post “I’m often starstruck by my Mom” as her mom rocks out on stage in the background of a video clip.

* Rachel loves rocking out too and has frequently performed with Tallan (Tallan Nobel Latz), another Wisconsin based artist who specializes in blues-infused rock and roll.

* In fact, you can check out one of her performances with Tallan and Friends below as she belts out “Death by Rock and Roll.”

* According to her Facebook page, Rachel is also marketing manager for at Delavan Lake Store & Lounge, where she and her sister have performed.
