Savanna Woods from The Voice Season 20

Savanna Woods is among the artists to announce that they auditioned for Season 20 of The Voice.

Here’s more about Savanna.

* She’s a singer-songwriter in her mid-20s from Stanwood, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest.

* Savanna hails from a musical family. In fact, she recently posted a music video to Facebook of her dad Stewart performing a song called “Win Some Lose Some” with a major assist from Savanna’s sister, Ireland.

* On her Patreon page, Savanna says she wrote her first song at age 3 and grew up performing alongside her father and sisters.

* She doesn’t appear to have released music yet, but has lots of originals you can check out her YouTube channel. Check out the excellent “Waiting for Tomorrow” below.

* Some are products of two live shows she does each week — Wandering Wednesdays (11 a.m. EST) and Saturday Sunset Sessions (4 p.m. EST). Previously on Facebook, Savanna has moved those to her Patreon page.

* Wandering Wednesdays features her performing a song wherever she happens to be — say “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas in front of the Neuschwanstein castle in Southern Germany.

* Savanna travels a lot. She’d visited 25 countries as of a June interview with OurPNWMusic.com and organized a Wood Sisters DIY tour of Europe in 2019.

* Woods Sisters is one of two bands she fronts. The other is Waking Maya, formed about six years ago.

* Writes Savanna on her Patreon page: “My goals for 2020 were move my music online so it was more accessible, and focus on developing my personal music career. All of the craziness that 2020 has brought so far has really aided me in doing this… There’s always a silver lining, right?”
