The song is called “Love Her,” and Michael described it to American Blues Scene as “a classic tale of a dangerous woman.”
The single hit digital sites Friday. The 10 song, self-titled album will follow on June 28, courtesy of Ruf Records, and is available for pre-order.
Michael describes the sound as “retro Texas rhythm and blues, with a helping of rock and roll.”
An album release party is set for June 23 in Michael’s hometown of Fort Worth. Attendees will be able to snag Michael’s album before the official release date.
Michael auditioned for Season 15 of The Voice at age 30 and turned three chairs with his cover of B.B. King’s “The Thrill Is Gone.”
He joined Team Blake Shelton and advanced to the Top 24 before being eliminated.
He’s also fronting the B.B. King Band on a series of upcoming shows. You can check those out on his website.
