Back in July, Mikalah Gordon released her first single since appearing on Season 4 of American Idol.
The song was called “Honey,” and it’s a hard-driving rocker, complete with grunts, moans and shrieks.
Now Mikalah has unveiled three more songs that make up what she’s calling the “Good Love” EP.
Unlike that debut single, those songs aren’t available on iTunes, at least not yet.
But you can head to Mikalah’s website to hear them. Or just listen to the embedded versions below.
They offer lots of variety, from the dance-pop “Good Love” to the fun and sassy “Shotgun” to the more ballad-like “Tightrope,” which Mikalah says is about striving to reach your dreams.
According to her website, Mikalah co-wrote the songs with Rob Vallier and Jim McGorman, who were also the co-producers.
Mikalah toured with the 1980s rock band Starship earlier this year, singing the Grace Slick parts of the band’s biggest hits.
Here are the new songs.
