If you haven’t snagged them yet, tickets are still available for WLAN FM 97’s Birthday Barn Dance on Friday, Sept. 24, at the Pullo Center (Penn State York).

David Archuleta is the headliner that night for a show that will also include Shontelle, The Ready Set, Hot Chelle Rae, and Runner Runner.

Tickets are just $18, which sounds like a bargain given the popularity of David and Shontelle and the cost of most concert tickets these days.

Jeff Hurley, program and digital content director for FM 97, shared a few more details of David’s performance earlier this week.

He’ll be performing last, probably after 9 p.m. He’ll perform for about 45 minutes.

And, yes, David fans, he’ll be performing songs off his new album.

That’s what makes the York appearance all the more exciting. David has a new album, “The Other Side of Down,” due out Oct. 5.

David released the track list for the album earlier this week. And he just posted the first in a series of videos that will include snippets and explain each of the songs on the album.

And, of course, you can pre-order the album from his website. Deluxe fan packages are available.

Bringing Shontelle to York is something of a coup, too.

Her catchy single “Impossible” is still number 53 on the Hot 100, after peaking at number 13. Her second album, “No Gravity,” is set for release just three days before the show at the Pullo Center.
