After drawing thousands to auditions in Detroit and Atlanta, the turnout for Friday’s Season 13 tryouts in Boston reportedly plummeted.

They were held Friday, leaving Idol with two more major stadium dates to round up talent for the upcoming season.

Those are set for Wednesday in Austin, Texas, and Sunday in Omaha, Neb.

Of course, Idol also announced that it’s heading out on another small-town bus tour this year.

That will include visits to Little Rock, Ark., on Saturday, Aug. 17; Oxford, Miss., on Monday, Aug. 19; Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Wednesday, Aug. 21; Knoxville, Tenn., on Friday, Aug. 23; and Chapel Hill, N.C., on Monday, Aug. 26.

Idol hasn’t yet announced the specific sites for those stops, but promises updates at americanidol.com.
