Moriah Formica has released her first single since finishing Top 20 on The Voice.

Moriah Formica, the young rocker who made a splash on Season 13 of The Voice, has released her first post-show single.

“I Will” dropped Friday. Moriah co-wrote the song with Sarah Lake. Paul Benedetti handled the production.

“We tried to create a unique sound, so I think this is what it would sound like if you put rock, country and pop in a blender,” Moriah tells fans on Facebook. “I’ve never sang such challenging vocals in one of my own songs before.”

Don’t fret, Moriah fans. There’s still plenty of rock in the song. And Moriah’s voice still soars, especially on the catchy chorus.

“This song is about overcoming anything,” she says. “To me it symbolizes my experiences in life, the music industry and my time on The Voice.”

Moriah, from Latham, N.Y., was just 16 when she auditioned for The Voice and turned all four chairs with her cover of Heart’s “Crazy on You.”

She wound up making it all the way to the Top 20 before being eliminated.

In addition to the new single, Moriah has a host of shows already scheduled for this spring and summer. You can check those out on that Facebook page.

Here’s “I Will.”
