Well, it’s three weeks and counting.

Three weeks at number one on the country singles chart for Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, that is.

“Don’t You Want to Stay” is also number 34 on the Hot 100, the top-ranked song on the chart by a former Idol contestant.

Kelly, meanwhile, appeared at the Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night awards in Phoenix Saturday night, singing “Walk Away,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” and “Why Don’t You Try.” That’s a photo of her performing at the event above.

For lots more photos from that show, go here. And I’ve embedded a video of Kelly singing “Why Don’t You Try,” an Eric Hutchinson tune, at the bottom of this blog.

Other chart highlights this week:

* Jennifer Hudson’s “Where You At” single cracked into the Hot 100 at number 96. It’s been on the R&B singles chart for about a month now, and jumped another five spots last week to number 12.

* Jennifer Lopez’s “On the Floor” holds steady at number five on the Hot 100. It’s been on the chart for three weeks.

* For the seventh straight week, the top of the adult contemporary singles chart is unchanged, with Bruno Mars “Just the Way You Are” at number one and Daughtry’s “September” at number two.

The complete rundown follows:
