This week, predictably enough, the song soared up the charts.

The song jumped 11 spots to a new peak of number 31 on Billboard’s Hot 100. It jumped 21 spots to a new peak of 23 on Billboard’s Top Digital Songs chart.

And the duet had already topped the country charts for three weeks in March.

It was one of the few bright spots for the Idols on the charts this week, with most of the other Idol entries retreating.

One exception: Jennifer Hudson’s first single off her new album cracked the top 10 on the dance / club play chart, moving up four spots. “Where You At” is also number 11 on the R&B singles chart, down one notch from a week ago.

Other noteables:

* Mandisa’s third album, “What If We Were Real,” drops from two to four on the Christian albums chart. Her first single off that album, “Stronger,” holds steady at number three among Hot Christian singles.

* Jennifer Hudson’s recently released album drops from four to six on the R&B chart and from 11 to 19 on the Billboard 200.
