Pre-Voice, Natalie Brady was performing in Nashville as the Natalie Brady Band.

She hadn’t released original music, but says that will change following her run on Season 15 of The Voice.

Natalie turned two chairs with her rousing performance of Heart’s “Barracuda” in the blind auditions and landed a spot on Team Adam.

She was eliminated from the show following a battle round performance of “Closing Time” with Jake Wells.

Since then, she said she and her band have been working on an album they hope to release early next year.

That band also includes Jon Sachar, Mike Spurgat, Justin Tolley, Chase Adams and Jon Galletti.

Here’s what Natalie told Voice Views about her time on the show and her plans moving forward.

Voice Views: The battle round was filmed in August. What have you been doing in terms of music or the entertainment industry since then? Has there been a specific post-Voice experience that stands out so far?

Natalie: Nothing has changed for me so far as what I’m doing. Business is great and I’m still making music — we’ve done some short tour runs, out to California twice and Florida/Alabama, but we’re still holding it down in Nashville weekly!

The response to my performances have been positively overwhelming. The response I’ve seen has really shown that people out there want a solid rock female artist to break out and get out there for the masses. I just can’t say thank you enough to those who have reached out to me, who have appreciated the time I was on the show, and to those who want more and more from me. And I can promise you – it is happening!

I’ve personally answered every message from people that have reached out from all over the world but that’s what this was about — the people want that gritty rock and soul to come back! And I’m ready to give it to them! I think someone really missed their chance to have that gritty, female, rock power on the show, but this gives me the opportunity to keep giving the people what they want, which is super easy because it’s what I love!

Voice Views: Where do you see your time on the show leading you musically? What do you have planned next? Do you think you’ll be releasing new music in the future and, if so, what can fans expect in terms of sound/timing?

Natalie: Well, we’re getting ready to start recording our album in the next few weeks and we’re writing as well. We’ve never rushed anything, but we’re hoping to have something out there just after the first of the year. Grammy award winner Randy Kohrs is taking us on, and we’re so excited to be able to work with him on this project!

We’re still touring and have some exciting, big shows coming up next year … so everyone needs to stay tuned to our social media to keep up with where we’re going! 🤘🏼

Voice Views: Do you think you grew as an artist as a result of The Voice experience? If so, in what way?

Natalie: Absolutely. It helped me realize even more who I am as an artist and how I need to stay true to what I do. It’s not about what someone wants to make me Into, it’s about my connection to the thing I love most (other than my kiddos), and that’s my music. Even if it’s some Marshall Tucker Band or Grace Potter, when I inject my feelings and emotions into that song, I make it my own. My band makes it our own! And we connect with people on so many levels when we just stick to what it is that we do, and do it the best.

Voice Views: Is there anything else you’d like to add about your experience on the show?

Natalie: The opportunity to be on The Voice was one I will never forget and will always respect and appreciate, and it’s one I carefully considered for a while. I learned so many things from every person I worked with — from the staff to the coaches and other contestants — and all of them taught me valuable lessons to carry on forward.

Their crew is a well-oiled machine and they handled every day as if it were a breeze! I was always treated with respect and if I ever needed anything, they were there. The musicians were stellar and the best in the business, and as a band girl, those moments with them I won’t forget either!! Nate, Sasha, Dave, Eric and Paul were amazing!!!!
