Natalie Stovall has released her second single since appearing on Season 13 of The Voice.

It’s called “Making Out in Cars,” and it’s one of my favorites among the recent singles released by former contestants on the show.

Natalie said she first heard a demo of the song years ago and “immediately fell in a love trance with it.

“It’s such a raw snapshot of real life,” she writes on Facebook. “Messy. Complicated. Sad. Hopeful. REAL Life.”

The song was written by Natalie Hemby, Barry Dean and Troy Verges. Brad Hill produced the single.

Thanks to a comeback invite from Blake Shelton, Natalie finished in the Top 24 on Season 13.

She’d released two EPs and a couple of singles before the show. Her first post-show single was “Wine or Whiskey.” The music video for that song dropped earlier this year.

Here’s “Making Out in Cars.”
