The American Idol who took country music by storm after winning season four announced this afternoon that she will be releasing a new album on Nov. 3.
That’s right, country music fans, a new Carrie Underwood album will be out before year’s end.
What’s more, a new single will be released later this summer. The news comes via a press release posted on Carrie’s MySpace page this afternoon.
Here’s a link to the full release.
The album doesn’t have a name yet, according to the release. But it’s being produced by Mark Bright. He also produced Carrie’s 2007 album, “Carnival Ride” and seven songs on her debut album, “Some Hearts.”
The latter sold something like seven million copies; the former something like three million.
And it’s still on the Billboard 200 chart of top albums — it’s number 59, in fact — 88 weeks after its release.
