Collin Raye and Todd Tilghman , former champ on The Voice, have teamed up for a new cover release.

En route to winning Season 18 of The Voice, Todd Tilghman performed Collin Raye’s “Love Me” on Top 9 night.

Now he’s released a cover of the song, featuring none other than Collin Raye.

“This has been a long time coming,” writes Todd on social media.

The song dropped Friday. It joins the January single “PB&J” as Todd’s second release of 2024.

In other new country releases:

Bias, Top 9 on Season 24 of The Voice has a rowdy new country rocker out called “Like an Outlaw.” He wrote the song with Blake Thompson and it features background vocals from Voice colleague Jacquie Roar. Says Bias: “This song is a testament that putting your nose to the grind will pay off in the long haul. No matter the dream, no matter the vision, don’t be afraid of the ride. Hang on, and ride like an outlaw.” The song marks his second release since The Voice. He dropped a song called “Lake of Fire” in March.

Molly Stevens from Season 14 has released a four-song EP called “A Drive out to the Lake.” She calls it a collection of songs she wrote with friends in Nashville over the past five years. The soulful and funky “Bring it to Me” with Shelly Fairfield is a standout track. The EP also features a ballad called “Temporary High” with Johnny Gates, another former Voice contestant.

Tori Miller from Season 19 recently released a lovely cover of Brandi Carlile’s “I Belong to You.” Says Tori: “I could write a novel on the ways this song has saved me over the last nine years. I’ve sang it for countless empty rooms, some full ones, and a whole lot of midnight jams in between.” It’s her first release of 2024, but her 2023 single “There Is Time” has passed 175,000 streams on Spotify.

Former Voice contestants Bias, Molly Stevens and Tori Miller have recently released new music.
