Jennifer Lopez

New Idol judge among ‘most fascinating’

Jennifer Lopez. (AP Photo)The list of Barbara Walter’s Most Fascinating People of 2010 was released this morning, and an Idol judge made the list.

Not Randy Jackson, who’s been spouting the same critiques of Idol contestants for nine years. Nothing new there.

Not Steven Tyler, though that would be quite interesting. Think of the prospects if Barbara sat down to chat with the Aerosmith frontman.

Instead, Barbara will be chatting with Jennifer Lopez about her career, her twins and how she keeps her marriage to Mark Anthony strong.

And, presumably, about her new gig as an Idol judge.

Among the others Barbara will be chatting with on her special: Sarah Palin, Justin Bieber, Betty White, LeBron James and the cast of Jersey Shore.

Hmm. I think I’ll DVR it and skip everything by J.Lo.

The show airs 10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, on ABC.

Last year, of course, Adam Lambert was among Barbara’s most fascinating.
