A new EP of live music from Bucky is now available via iTunes.

The EP includes five songs recorded live during his recent hometown concert in Rockingham, N.C., including “Gotta Be Somebody,” the Nickelback cover that is his current single.

Also on the EP are the three hits from his first album (”A Different World,” “I’ll Walk” and “It’s Good To Be Us”) and a second song from his upcoming second album (”Mexicoma”).

He performed all five of those songs during his concert at the York Fair in September.

I attended three Idol shows at the fair — David Cook’s, Kelly Clarkson’s (albeit on a soaking wet Friday night) and Bucky’s. Gotta say, Bucky’s was my favorite.

I’m sure that had something to do with the intimacy of the venue; he was playing the country stage, not the fair’s grandstand.

But anyone who can work Pink Floyd’s ”Another Brick in the Wall” into their country show is alright by me. In case you missed the concert coverage, here’s a link.

Speaking of which, the name of Bucky’s upcoming album is “I’m Alright.” Not sure we knew that before. The album, twice postponed, is now due out in the spring of 2010.
