Stream, stream, stream away. Artists need your support in this time of no live shows.

* Chance Pena from Season 9 released “Drown,” his first single of 2020, last week. Writes Chance: “Drowning was the perfect metaphor for this idea, an idea of acceptance among other things. Wanting to be fully submerged in a situation whether you make it out on the other side or things come crashing down. Accepting the fact that no matter the outcome, you’re all in. — Submerged, for better or worse.”

* Emily Keener from Season 10 has released a haunting new song called “Nap.” It’s available as a free download on Bandcamp for anyone who pre-orders her upcoming album “I Do Not Have to be Good,” which will be out May 22. “Nap” will be one of nine songs on the indie-folk project; “Boats” and “Do You Love Me Lately?” are also already out on streaming sites.

* Kensington Moore from Season 7 continues a string of impressive singles with her latest, “I Don’t Care.” The song was written with David Thulin and Rhyan Shirley and follows “Should’ve Listened” as Kensington’s second single of 2020.

* Katrina Cain from Season 15 has released a pair of remixes of her fine 2019 single “Promised Land,” one courtesy of ABE, one courtesy of JYRYMY. Katrina also has two new singles out this year, “How Did We Get Here?” and “Forgive Me in the Morning.”
