Dawn and Hawkes have a new single out and are about to release their first album in five years.

A look at recent releases from artists fans met on The Voice.

Dawn and Hawkes, from Season 6, just dropped a single called “Father’s House.” And the duo of Miranda Dawn and Chris Hawkes is preparing to release their first album since 2018 on Aug. 23 when “Light Inside” lands. Miranda says “Father’s House” is about growing up in Austin, Texas, in a house surrounded by music. “I just wanted to honor that experience of being a little girl, under the table, watching all the musicians play and being inspired to follow that path.” Her dad, Papa Chico, performed in bands and plays mandolin on the new album as well. Which makes this a perfect release for Father’s Day weekend.

Savanna Chestnut from Season 20 just dropped her latest single, “Flower in the Ditch.” She also announced that she’ll be opening for Sawyer Brown at The Wild West Festival in Hays, Kansas, on July 5. Savanna played 111 shows in 2023 and has a couple of busy months coming out. Check out her show dates here. “Flowers in the Ditch” is her first release of 2024.

Cali Tucker from Season 6 released “Country Couture” on Friday. “This song is for all of you who have designer hanging next to your denim in your closet,” says Cali. It marks the first single in about three years for Cali, who’s now a busy Las Vegas-based singer. For those who don’t remember, she’s the niece of former country superstar Tanya Tucker. Cali’s mom, LaCosta, was also a country singer and Cali credits her mom for passing down the “County Couture” lifestyle.

Kinsey Rose from Season 21 dropped a cover song called “This is My Life” on Friday. She says it’s a song she learned 10 years ago from Danish artist Kim Larsen on her first tour of Denmark. “Since then I’ve been singing this song all over the world and have put my own spin on it.” Oh, and Kinsey will be returning to Europe for another tour late this summer with an Aug. 31 stop in Denmark.
