* Madilyn Paige from Season 6 has enjoyed a very productive 2021 and decided to wrap it up by compiling all the singles she’s released, plus a new song, on an album called “Doors.” The catchy new single is “Open Door,” the album’s closing track. Says Madilyn: “For me, this song and album title represent the open doors that life brings, and that if we embrace them we can potentially see some amazing things happen.” Madilyn’s also celebrating 4 million streams of her songs in 2021.

* Emma Caroline from Season 20 has released “I Don’t Need,” her second single since appearing on The Voice in the spring. She wrote the song with Kortnie Heying back when she first moved to Nashville in 2018. Keegan Ferrell, also from Season 20, handled production. “I’ve sat on it for a couple of years because I wanted people to really be able to feel the emotions in this song when they listened,” says Emma.

* Tate Brusa from Season 18 dropped his latest single, “Like Her,” late last month. Tate, 16 when he auditioned for the show, said he wrote the single a couple of months ago and “finished producing the whole thing in my head while I slept on a plane to New York. Earlier this year, Tate celebrated reaching 1.5 million steams on Spotify for his 2020 single “Not Me That You’re Thinking Bout.”
