In case you missed it, because I sure did, season three runner-up Diana DeGarmo released a country music EP — “Unplugged in Nashville” — earlier this year. The four songs are available for download from iTunes.
You can check out “Thank You,” a tribute to U.S. soldiers serving overseas, on her MySpace page. You’ll also find snippets from some other county songs by Diana there.
Meanwhile, Diana is preparing to perform in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at the Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma City next month. The lead role of Joseph falls to another former Idol contestant, Anthony Fedorov from season four.
After finishing second to Fantasia in season three, Diana released an album titled “Blue Skies” to disappointing sales. That was in December 2004. She has yet to release a full-fledged followup, but she did appear on the CMT reality show “Gone Country” in 2007.
