Celebrity duets are nothing new during the American Idol semifinals.

After all, during Season 15, FOX invited back past Idol standouts to mentor and sing with members of the Top 24.

ABC has retained the duets; it’s cut the Idol tie for those duets.

So for the next two weeks, we’ll be treated to four nights of music featuring the Top 24.

During each of the Sunday episodes, 12 members of the Top 24 will perform solo songs.

During the Monday episodes, they’ll duet with celebrities, some of whom will be more familiar to Idol fans than others.
