In case you keep track of such things, three singers turned four chairs on The Voice Season 10 premiere Monday night.

Caity Peters joined Team Pharrell. Mary Sarah joined Team Blake. And Alisan Porter opted to become a member of Team Christina.

That’s noteworthy because it’s Adam Levine who’s normally the king of the four-chair turns. Heck, last season a record 14 singers turned four chairs; six wound up on Team Adam.

Yet he failed to land any of the ladies on Monday.

Oh, well, with 48 spots to fill, there are many talented artists still to come.

Speaking of which, let’s meet some of them …

Joe Vivona, 27, Verona, N.J.: His family business is the world’s largest travelling amusement park. He’s going to sing “Dreaming with a Broken Heart” by John Mayer. Joe’s smoky tone entices chair turns from Adam and Blake before he even reaches the chorus. And he throws in enough vocal wrinkles near the end to get Pharrell to turn as well. Adam says he did a fantastic job and has a unique tone. Blake compliments Joe for delivering a performance that moved the audience. Joe joins Team Pharrell because he’s his granddad’s favorite coach. To hear more: You can hear lots of Joe’s music on his YouTube channel.

Shalyah Fearing, 15, Hudson, Fla.: She comes from a large family and performs with a family band called Fearing Star. Shalyah plays keyboards and is the lead singer. She’ll sing “What Is Love.” And immediately displays a really nice tone. Christina turns around in a heartbeat. Shalyah is delivering this with more than a little passion, too, but she can’t convince another coach to turn. That means she’ll be on Team Christina. To hear more: You can see several videos of Shalyah performing on her family band’s YouTube channel.

Adam Wakefield, 33, Nashville, Tenn.: Adam credits his girlfriend for encouraging him to move to Nashville and continue to pursue music after the death of his brother, also a bandmate. He’ll audition with “Tennessee Whiskey.” And his smooth blues sound prompts an early chair turn from Adam. Adam ramps up his performance in the last few seconds, but can’t get the other coaches to turn. Adam and Blake bicker over whether Adam’s a country artist. Well, Adam joins Team Blake, who calls his voice “insane.” To hear more: He was a founding member of a Baltimore-based band called Old Man Brown. The group released three albums — “The Return” (2007), “Blue Light Special” (2010) and “Brand Me Immoral” (2013).

Caroline Burns, 15: She auditioned in Season 9, but didn’t make the cut. She has since been playing in a band called “4:30 to 5.” Oh, and she’s grown an inch, reaching 5-feet tall. She’ll sing “So Far Away.” It only takes a couple of lines for Caroline to entice Adam to turn. She sounds very young, but she’s delivering a fine performance for someone who’s just 15. At the very last instant, Blake turns as well. Adam calls her tremendous and compliments her on her improvement. Blake says it’s young singers like Caroline who make him excited about the future of music. Caroline picks Team Adam. To hear more: You’ll find lots of videos of her performing on her YouTube channel.

Natalie Clarke: Her dad is a jazz guitarist and she left Scotland to come to the U.S. to pursue a career in music. She’ll audition with “All Right Now.” But her performance fails to earn a chair turn. Christina compliments her on a “cool, powerful” voice but says she was looking for more of a beast in the performance.

Emily Keener, 16, Wakeland, Ohio: She got a guitar at age 10, started writing songs at age 12 and says she’s now ready “for a bigger stage.” Emily has a really remarkable voice. And she earns a four-chair turn before she hits the chorus of “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” Hey, that was a pretty remarkable performance with absolutely no sign of stage fright from someone so young. Blake calls her voice “like a completely new sound.” Pharrell calls her performance breathtaking and “super fresh.” She joins Team Pharrell. To hear more: She released the eight-track “East of the Sun” EP last March. She released an album called “A Book of New Beginnings” in 2013.

Laith Al-Saadi, 38, Ann Arbor, Mich.: He says he hasn’t had a real job since he was old enough to drive around with his gear. He’s hoping The Voice helps him become more of an artist rather than playing bar gigs the rest of his life. He’ll sing “The Letter.” He turns in a passionate vocal, and punctuates it with some pretty impressive guitar skills. Blake calls his voice “so enormous” and calls him a “great singer.” Adam calls him “awesome.” Laith joins Team Adam. To hear more: He released an eight-track blues album called “Real.” in 2013. The marked his third major release, following the 10-track “In the Round” in 2009 and the 10-track “Long Time Coming” in 2006.

Angie Keilhauer, 23, Marietta, Ga.: Angie says she’s wanted to sing all her life and wound up singing on a cruise ship. She’ll sing “I Hold On.” This young lady also has some excellent pre-show music. And she’s ripping into the chorus of this song. On the second run-through of the chorus, she earns chair turns from everyone but Christina. Adam says she kept getting better and better as the performance went on. Blake liked the way Angie performed like “a loose cannon.” Angie becomes the newest member of Team Blake. To hear more: She released the seven-track “Angie Keilhauer: Live Acoustic Sessions” in March 2014. Want covers? There are dozens on her YouTube channel.

Then we meet three singers who wind up being montaged.

Katherine Ho picks Adam over Blake. To hear more: You can hear several of her cover songs on her YouTube channel.

Jonathan Bach gets a chair turn from Pharrell. To hear more: Head to his Facebook page and you can hear short snippets of some of the cover songs he’s been posting over the past year.

Lacy Mandigo winds up on Team Christina. To hear more: You can check out a couple of videos of her performing on her YouTube channel.

Theron Early, 21: He’s going to sing “Amazed” by Lonestar, saying he loves to re-compose country music songs. Theron shows off nice range, and hits a heck of a glory note, but can’t get a chair to turn.

Kata Hay, 28, Nashville, Tenn.: She works at the number one karaoke place in Nashville. But in terms of making it bit, she says she’s a really tiny fish in a big pond. She’ll sing “Redneck Woman.” It’s pretty obvious that Kata is used to performing. This is a fun, energetic performance. For a long time, no one turns around. Then, at the last minute, everyone turns but Blake. And Kata attacks the coaches who turned around to give them thank you hugs. Christina likes Kata’s “spunk” and fiery personality. Kata joins Team Christina. To hear more: In addition to a couple of albums when she was very young, Kata released a 13-track album called “Reckless” in 2008 and a four-track EP called “Remember That Summer” in 2009 as Kata and the Blaze. She has released eight singles since as Kata Hay, including “Robbie’s Song,” “Someone” and “My Song” in 2010, “Cannibals” and “Gorgeous” in 2011, “Smoke When I Drink” in 2012, “Drives Me Crazy” and “Re-Run” in 2014.
