Noah Mac has released the first song from his upcoming album.

Former Voice standout Noah Mac has a new song and a new sound.

And this summer, he’ll have a new album too, called “Pretty Boy.”

The new song is “All She Want Is Gold” and dropped Friday.

“I can’t tell you how proud of this I am,” Noah wrote on Instagram. “This song specifically represents a huge shift in my mindset, in my creativity, and in my overall happiness.

The new single, he adds, “is the first song I made that embodies a shift from heaviness to lightheartedness. Long story short, it’s kinda a BOP and I hope you are as happy as I am every time I listen to it.”

A release date for “Pretty Boy” hasn’t been announced, but it’s a completely DIY project.

Noah, 19, from Dublin, Calif., recorded and produced the album in his home studio. Every sound, every voice and every instrument is his, according to the website.

Noah was 17 when he auditioned for Season 13 of The Voice and made it all the way to the Top 8.

He’s released eight singles and three music videos since and also recently posted another original to YouTube — “Skyfell” — that didn’t make it onto the upcoming album.

Here’s a snippet of “All She Want is Gold.”
