Each coach needed just one more artist heading into Monday’s episode of The Voice.

They landed them, of course, filling out the Season 15 roster of 48 and rewarding the perseverance of Matt Johnson in the process.

A 26-year-old from Staunton, Va., Matt said he’s been auditioning for The Voice since the show began airing in 2011.

It sounded like Monday’s show marked the first time he’d advanced as far as the blind auditions.

He wound up nabbing the very last spot on Season 15, with a last-second chair turn from Jennifer Hudson, no less.

Here’s a photo gallery from the last night of the blinds.
