Phillip Phillips plans concert to help Sandy victims

0

With a debut album release just around the corner, Phillip Phillips will present a 20-minute online concert later this week to help Hurricane Sandy victims.

The show is planned for 6 p.m. Thursday at Stageit.

When I checked at about 11:30 a.m. Monday (Nov. 12), about 4,800 tickets remained for the show.

The cost: Whatever you can afford to donate.

No one has provided details on the set list, but it’s probably a good bet that Phillip will play something from the upcoming album.

Song snippets from “The World from the Side of the Moon” have now been posted on iTunes, where you can pre-order the standard or deluxe version of the CD, set for release next week.

You can also pre-order the album from Phillip’s website. Fans who order one of the bundle deals, which include a t-shirt and an 8×10, will receive an autographed 8×10 as long as supplies last.
