And while we’re watching scenes from their January wedding in New York, we’re treated to Pia’s cover of the James Arthur song, “Say You Won’t Let Go.”

Pia performed the song for Jimmy at the wedding and described the moment on her Instagram account.

“The last time I sung for someone was at my Sweet 16 & it was to my Grandpa Jay, who has since passed.

“I decided after that moment that I probably would never do that again, because I basically sobbed through the whole performance & he probably couldn’t understand a word I sang to him.

“After that I kind of detached my emotions a bit because if I felt too emotionally connected to a song, I would relate too much & kind of crumble… I was scared to share those “weaknesses”‘with anybody but my father & my grandpa so I tucked them away for quite a while.

“Finally I found the one who has accepted me flaws & all, Who prefers feeling over perfection & the one who has faithfully stayed by my side as my biggest cheerleader throughout some of our toughest moments.

“So on Jan 7th, Through the happy tears, I let my guard down & sang to Jimmy one of the truest songs I have ever sung.”

Smith, a professional dancer, and Pia, from Season 10 of Idol, met through Jennifer Lopez.
