And pre-orders for the album are underway on iTunes.
Three talented women — Bess Rogers, Hannah Winkler, Lelia Broussard — front the Secret Someones, with percussion courtesy of Zach Jones.
Lelia was a contestant on Season 3 of The Voice, though if you blinked, you probably missed her.
Shame, because she released lots of impressive solo material before joining Secret Someones. Check out songs like “You’re Not Fooling Anyone,” “Hipster Bitch” and “Buffalo Stars” under her name on iTunes.
As for the Secret Someones, that debut album is going to be jam-packed with music.
There will be 10 base tracks, plus acoustic versions of six of those songs for a total of 16 tracks.
Three tracks are already available — “Headfirst,” “I Won’t Follow” and “Quit Pulling Me Down” — and it’s an impressive sampling.
Meanwhile, the band recently released the video for “Headfirst.” That’s it at upper right, of course.
For those unfamiliar with the Secret Someones, Lelia is the first band member we meet in the video.
If you’d like a physical copy of the new album, you can pre-order that from the band’s website.
