Ruby Leigh, runner-up on Season 24 of The Voice, released her first single since the show last week.
And that’s just one reason for the teen to celebrate.
On Friday, she made her Grand Ole Opry debut.
“There will never be enough words to describe this night,” Ruby wrote on social media. “A little 9 year old girl’s dream has come true.”
As for the single, it’s called “Love’s Like a Rose” and it’s a song Ruby co-wrote and recorded in Nashville.
Says Ruby Leigh: “It’s a song about two people falling in and out of love and wondering if they’ll ever find love again.”
From Foley, Missouri, Ruby was just 16 when she auditioned for Season 24 with “I Wanna Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart.”
She turned four chairs with that performance, joined Team Reba and made it all the way to the finals.
