Mark Isaiah, a Top 10 finisher on Season 12 of The Voice, has released a debut single.

Mark Isaiah from Season 12 of The Voice has released his debut single.

The songs is a catchy pop tune called “Wanna Go.” The lad from Mount Pocono, Pa., even throws in a couple of lines of Spanish.

Mark made it all the way to the Top 10 as a member of Team Adam Levine during Season 12, earning a pair of Twitter saves to make it that far.

You’ll might recall that he’s the singer who said he was so overweight at age 14 that he was bashful about performing in public.

At age 17, he’d tried out for The Voice and failed to make it past the second audition round.

At age 19, he tried again, auditioned with Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” and earned a spot on the show.

What a difference two years made.

In addition to the new single, Mark has posted a mashup of Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” and Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” on YouTube.

And he’s preparing for his first live show, set for Nov. 11 at the Sherman Theater in East Stroudburg, Pa. His Season 12 colleague JChosen will open that show. For ticket info, head here.

Now, that new single.
