Season 26 finalists selected on The Voice

The Voice finalists for Season 26 will be named tonight.

Four will be determined by the overnight fan voting with the top four vote-getters automatically advancing to next week’s show.

The fifth will be determined by an instant save after the four lowest vote-getters perform one more time in hopes of securing that save.

Looking for clues as to who might advance?

Well, a check of the YouTube videos of last night’s performances show that Sofronio Vasquez’s rendition of “If I Can Dream” was easily the most streamed, with more than 330,000 views.

No one else cracked 100,000, landing in this order: Jeremy Beloate (89K), Shye (82K), Jan Dan (66K), Sydney Sterlace (55K), Danny Joseph (38K), Christina Eagle (37K) and Adam Bohanan (30K).

I’ll be grading the save performances in a separate blog later tonight.

Fans voted through:

Sofronio Vasquez of Team Michael. No shock there.

Sydney Sterlace of Team Gwen. She turned in a fine performance Monday.

Jeremy Beloate of Team Snoop: I wasn’t fond of his song choice Monday, but he has one of the best voices on the show.

Shye of Team Michael. No doubt Team Michael was the strongest in the playoffs and the finale would have seemed empty without Shye.

And the instant save went to Danny Joseph, giving all four Voice coaches an artist in the Season 26 finale.

That means the elimination of Christina Eagle, Jan Dan and Adam Bohanan. Christina and Adam made the semifinals after being one-chair turns in the blinds. And I thought Jan Dan turned in the best save performance Tuesday night.
