During her bio segment on The Voice, Shye Roberts said she missed her high school graduation to attend the auditions.

But last month, she was back at Glen Cove High School in Long Island, N.Y.

The occasion — a welcome home celebration in honor of her success on the show.

That success has continued. On Monday, Shye will be one of five singers vying for the show’s title.

Now a resident of Bethlehem, Pa., Shye auditioned at age 17, turning the chairs of all four coaches with her cover of “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” by Five for Fighting.

Here’s a look back at Shye’s impressive run of performances on the show.
