Song by song grades for The Voice 4-way knockout

Tonight, the four saved artists from the battle round will square off in what is becoming a Voice tradition — the four-way knockout.

And for the first time this season, fans will have a say in who advances.

You can vote for your favorite knockout performance, and the artist with the most votes will get to sing in next week’s live playoffs.

Here are song by song grades for the four-way knockout.

Emma Caroline, 25, of Tuscaloosa, Ala. (Team Blake), “Neon Moon” by Brooks and Dunn — Emma has a really pretty country tone. But she still looked a bit intimidated by The Voice stage. I’m pretty sure Blake was hoping she’d cut loose even a bit more on that song. Grade: C+

Devan Blake Jones, 35, of Denver, Co. (Team Nick), “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles — Well, they call it The Voice, and Devan captured my attention with his very first line. He also showed off pretty incredible range, though I preferred when he wasn’t singing falsetto. That said, this was impressive. Grade: A–

Carolina Rial, 17, of Ridgefield, N.J. (Team Legend), “Anyone” by Demi Lovato — Impressive performance by young Carolina. And a really nice tender ending. My only complaint, she started on 10, which meant the song sounded a bit shouty when she tried to build on that. Grade: B

Savanna Woods, 26, of Standwood, Wash. (Team Kelly), “Blake Hole Sun” by Soundgarden — Damn, Savanna. This song was covered on American Idol by one of the judges’ favorite. Not nearly, nearly, nearly, nearly as good as Savanna did it. That was one hell of a rock performance. One that just kept getting better. Great job. Grade: A
