Bet you didn’t even know there was a guy named Jayron Weaver on American Idol this year.

I don’t think we were ever introduced to Jayron. I don’t think we ever got to hear him sing.

But the eagle-eyed among us might have caught a glimpse of him on group day, trying to decide which group to join.

Turns out Jayron is one half of a talented duo known as Blue Eyed Grass. Delnora Reed is the other half.

And together they’ve released two independent albums plus a Christmas CD, all three of which are available on iTunes.

The latest, “Sleep Walking,” was released Jan. 1 and includes this Monday’s Song of the Day — “I Walk.”

Wow, talk about beautiful harmonies.

Here’s a video of Jayron and Delnora performing the song. I just wish the audio were better.

And, as I said, “I Walk” is available from iTunes. I downloaded it a couple if weeks back while researching Nashville contestants who advanced to Hollywood.
